Recycling Cans into Cash Checklist

1.  Find a dedicated coordinator.

4.  Set clear goals.  Establish how many cans you intend to collect and the length of the drive or if this is a permanent program.  Then develop a plan based on the cirteria.

5.  Obtain and conveniently place can collection containers.

6.  Find a place to store the cans.

7.  Move the cans to a recycling center.

8.  Involve various staff members in your recycling efforts.

9.  Encourage and maintain enthusiasm.

10. Promote the program and its successes to your local community and media.  Be sure to include information about how the funds will benefit a local charity/cause.
